White Cloud Review
White Cloud has lowered their prices!
Prices have been slashed, and White Cloud’s starter kits no longer compete in the ranks of being the most expensive.
White Cloud’s e cigarette is the KR808D1, which is the same model offered by E Cigarettes National and V2 (for less).
Price – 3.5/5
Their basic starter kit called Cirrus II contains two batteries, five cartomizers, and one USB charger and costs $69.95. At $129, the Cirrus 3 starter kit includes 3 batteries, 5 cartomizers, 1 USB charger, 1 wall charger, and a Squid charger (allows charging of 3 batteries simultaneously; priced at $39.95). At $199, the Cirrus 3x starter kit includes three batteries, 25 total cartomizers, one Chargebolt USB charger, one AC adapter, and one DC adapter.
Old prices for batteries: Cirrus II at $38.95, the C3 at $51.95, and the C3X at $64.95.
New prices for batteries: Cirrus II at $29.95, the C3 at $34.95, and the C3X at $39.95.
Even with the lower prices, the batteries are still a hefty price to pay.
Considering all other factors you take into account when purchasing your e cigarette, no one should EVER have to pay these exorbitant prices for batteries.
One 50-pack of cartomizers costs $129.95, or $2.60 apiece. Regular 5-packs of cartomizers cost $13.95, making each cartomizer a costly $2.79.
Warranty – 4/5
White Cloud’s warranty provides coverage for 6 months. For the Cirrus 3x starter kit, an automatic 2-year warranty is applied. The Cirrus II and C3 starter kits include a 6-month warranty, but, for an additional $29.95, one can purchase the 2-year warranty. The process to receive a replacement involves sending back the defective unit first.
White Cloud implicitly states dripping liquid into their e cigarettes will void any applicable warranties.
Selection -3.5/5
Three types of batteries, various flavored disposables, and flavored cartomizers. Decent selection for the basics but nothing beyond that.
Our take? Do some price shopping before “marrying” into the White Cloud brand. The lower prices are attractive, but the cost of cartomizers and batteries alone are a strike.
