Volcano Review

Volcano Review

Few companies can offer it all. Often times, a company may fall short because they don’t offer a basic staple of e cig usage like e liquid or are expensive… or just flat-out blow! Hawaii-based Volcano is one of the very few who have impressed us in all departments.

Volcano offers 4 different e cigarette models: VOLCANO, MAGMA, INFERNO, and LAVATUBE.

Does this mean they’re: Good, Better, Great, and Excellent? Not necessarily, but the proceeding model is more powerful than its predecessor.

Depending on your familiarity, comfort level, and experience with previous e cigs, Volcano has an e cigarette best suited for your lifestyle.

Price – 5/5

Priced at $64.99, the VOLCANO Kit includes 2 batteries, 1 V-pack, 1 wall charger, 1 mini USB cable and 1 USB charger, 5 cartomizers.

At $74.99 is MAGMA and includes 2 batteries, 1 M-pack, 1 USB charger, 1 mini USB cable, 1 wall charger, 1 Tank-o-mizer (BIG atomizer), 5 blank tanks (blank cartridges), and 1 15 ml bottle of v-liquid, Volcano’s personal e liquid.

INFERNO is the largest e cig and offers the most battery life and vapor production (in terms of units that look like an analog cig). Priced at $74.99, it includes 1 650 mAh pass-through battery, 1 900 mAh pass-through battery, 1 wall charger, 1 mini USB cable, 1 tube tank set up with 1 cartomizer and 1 drip tip, 5 refill cartomizers, 1 tube sock, and 1 15 ml v-liquid bottle.

Finally, the LAVATUBE is Volcano’s own variable voltage offering. Compared to ProVape’s ProVari at $159.95 for just the unit and $211.95 for a kit, the LAVATUBE is a steal at $99.99. This price includes just the main unit with battery and doesn’t come with additional parts and accessories.

If you’re a first-time e cig user, the LAVATUBE will probably be best saved for future use… not that we don’t believe a new vaper won’t like it, rather it’s got more features than what the average smoker is looking for. More often than not, a vaper just wants a damn good e cig that just works and works well. If you’re down to tweak settings and gauge voltage meters, however, then go for the Lava Tube.

15 ml and 30 ml e liquids are priced at $12.99 and $19.99, respectively.

Customer Service – 4/5

No issues with shipping but the response time with customer service was somewhat sluggish.

Warranty – 4/5

Volcano offers a 1-year limited warranty that covers batteries, chargers, and charger packs. E liquid and cartomizers are not covered under any warranty. Units rendered defective from normal usage will be replaced, but any unit that has been altered/modified, not maintained, or flooded with e liquid are not covered. The first 2 are understandable, but the last one troubles us simply because not getting e liquid in your battery – ever – is rare. There’s a learning curve with e cigs, and even very experienced vapers will get *some* liquid leakage from time to time.

It’s important to note Volcano also does not offer a full money back guarantee but will instead attempt to fix by replacing issues their customers have with their e cigs.

Selection – 5/5

Accessories galore! One of the reasons a vaper searches for a new supplier is because of the lack of options. Vapers start off simple: they will choose a starter kit, be happy with it for a while, but will eventually bore of the limitations and search for more options, more customization, more equipment.

Volcano is a good starting place and offers plenty of goodies so you don’t have to go out and find a new supplier.

They’ve got the basic e cig all the way to the mechanism that gives its user complete power over how their e cig vapes. They have over 30 e liquid flavors and the helpful refill assistant, the drip tip. Plus, stickers, t-shirts, and flavored cartomizers including Coocoo Coconut,  Milk Chocolate, and Bluewater Punch.

They even have coffee O_O
