Firebrand Review

Firebrand may be the first to coin the term “liquitine” in reference to e liquid. Featuring the Diablo Falcon and Millennium, which is a 510 model, plus a good selection of liquitine, Firebrand is a favorite among first-time vapers.

Price – 3.5/5

Priced at $69.99, the traditional 3-piece Firebrand Millennium MEGA atomizer kit includes 2 MEGA batteries*, 3 low resistance atomizers rated at 1.7 ohms, 5 blank Sophisto cartridges, 1 wall charger, and 2 free goodies: a 10 milliliter e liquid ($9.99 value) bottle plus a MEGA carry case ($12.99 value).

Considering the ease and convenience of using the more updated 2-piece cartomizer style kits, this is somewhat pricey for a 3-piece e cigarette, but the free liquid and case make up for it.

*Although considered a “mega”, it’s important to note the MEGA battery only contains 280 mAh, which is the same mAh capacity as the Firelight Fusion‘s battery.

The good news is Firebrand does offer a cartomizer kit called the Phoenix Millennium, which is what we highly recommend and suggest using over a 3-piece. Their Phoenix Millennium Cyclone Cartomizer kit includes 2 batteries, 10 cartomizers, and 1 wall charger for $69.99.

The Diablo Falcon is their elite kit with a 650 mAh capacity battery, priced at $84.99. For first-time vapers who can get past the non-cigarette appearance and want a major kick, we suggest the Diablo Falcon. For those who want an e cigarette that looks more like a real cigarette, opt for the Millennium. If a “real” look isn’t that important to you, search our other electronic cigarette reviews to find what you’re looking for. :)

Customer Service – 5/5

Friendly representatives and quick shipping time. No qualms here!

Warranty – 2.5/5

Firebrand’s warranty period is for 30 days, which, in itself, isn’t exactly bad. When rating warranty periods, we care more for the actual process to receive a replacement. Often times, regardless of the length of the warranty, we want to know we’re going to receive a replacement sooner rather than later. We understand that companies can’t exactly overnight a replacement, but we don’t exactly want to wait two weeks to receive a new unit either.

Which brings us to Firebrand’s warranty: you are required to send the defective unit back to them first before a replacement is sent. BUT, unlike companies like V2 and Green Smoke, as long as you provide the tracking number of the package you sent out, Firebrand will immediately send you your replacement. The package is to be sent by USPS First Class mail with delivery confirmation included, and the cost of shipping not exceeding $5.99 will be credited by store credit.

While it’s not the most ideal replacement process, it is better than waiting up to two weeks.

Firebrand receives a 3 because you’re still required to send back units despite the short time period. Normally, and in our previous experiences with companies who have shorter warranty times, a replacement is sent out immediately.

Selection – 5/5

We believe their selection to be well-rounded. There’s something for different levels of vapers (well, maybe not the hardcore ones that require modded e cigs), and the variety of flavored cartomizers gives the vaper plenty of options. Firebrand also carries drip tips, heat shield cones, disposables, and, of course, their signature liquitine.
