This is the same company that wrote the legislation of the Family Smoking & Tobacco Control Act that is effectively turning the tobacco world upside down.  This act has setup Phillip Morris a way for them to influence the elimination of their competition via the FDA and regulation and bans of almost all of their competitors as we see happening with Lorillard Tobacco’s acquisition of Blu e cigs for 135 million dollars (you have to read the post to understand).

Now Phillip  Morris is developing a tobacco vaporizer? Let’s look at their wording of the release about the subject from bloomberg.com.

The “most promising” lower-risk products would heat tobacco or generate aerosol that consumers inhale, New York- based Philip Morris said. The heated-tobacco device is ready for clinical testing, and manufacturing of lower-risk cigarettes would start in three to four years, Calantzopoulos said.

That product that would “generate aerosol that consumers inhale” is nothing more than a vaporizer that are on the market to this day, and very similar to the electronic cigarette kits on the market today, but is in danger of heavy regulation, most likely putting most e cigarette companies out of business.

Now they are hoping to add more chemicals to some of their new invention to cause combustion.

A second product under development would be lit with a normal lighter, while a third uses a chemical reaction to make an aerosol that contains nicotine.

I thought over 4,000 chemicals being burnt and inhaled was what causes 98% of all smoking related illnesses, at least that is what science states, so why are they trying to ignite these “New Cigarettes” by adding more chemicals to the already deadly mix?

Big Pharma also played a part in that “Act” to protect their monopoly on nicotine that is not “IN” tobacco, helping to keep their 200 billion a year of monies from taking care of tobacco smoking victims.

Do yourself a favor, get yourself an e cig and forget these morons because top doctors that are not sold out state you can use them to quit or at least stop inhaling what kills you, and this is supported by science, not propaganda.
