Cigar Options

Boy, cigar smokers can really have it hard sometimes. It’s just that not that many people really enjoy the smell of tobacco cigar. They don’t like the smell or the huge plumes of smoke they put out. These days, non-smokers won’t even tolerate a cigarette being burned around them let alone a big old cigar! None the less, cigar smokers still buy them and smoke them. They can’t really smoke them in public anymore, but they can in their car or their home, they might even belong to a cigar smoking club!

Cigar Tobacco

Most people know that cigars are different than tobacco cigarette because the leaves are carefully cured and then rolled into cigar. Where cigarette tobacco is chopped finely and burns faster, rolled leaves burns slower and differently than cigarettes. Hand rolled cigars from Cuba have always been a luxurious type of cigar for those that can afford them, but many cigars are rolled using machines as well. There are different types of cigars and what they are called depends on their size and length. There are Corona and Panatela cigars. There are even cigars that can come in different flavors like vanilla or amaretto similar to what is available in for pipe tobacco. Some cigars are open on on end and the other end must be clipped off in order to smoke it. There are special little cigar cutters that smokers use to clip off this closed end.

Humidors

Since the tobacco of a cigar needs to be somewhat moist in order to burn correctly, what is called a humidor is used. A humidor can be a specific wooden box or it can be an entire room. The humidity level needs to be kept at between 68% to 72. Wooden boxes are often lined with Spanish cedar. It only makes sense that the serious cigar smoker would keep and use a humidor. An occasional cigar smoker might not go to the trouble of owning one.

Electronic Cigars

 

Since smoking bans have become so common an so many smokers are voluntarily walking away from tobacco smoking for the electronic cigarette, cigar smokers also have that option. E Cigars are becoming very popular especially among those that only want an occasional cigar. However, even some of the pickiest cigar smokers will use this electronic version just so they can get rid of the tobacco use knowing that smoke is the killer.

Cigars have an advantage over tobacco cigarette because most cigar smokers do not inhale. This means most are not sucking the deadly chemicals & tar that accounts for  the vast majority of health related disease and illnesses that a regular cigarettes cause according to science. The E Cigar makes them an even better choice for the person who loves a good cigar by effectively eliminating the smoke.

Using an e cigar is a lot more convenient to use for one great reason, there is no odor.
